Dear Neptune Family,
The 2016-17 School Year has started, and I am very excited about what is ahead for this year. As your new principal, I am honored to serve the parents, community, teachers, and students of Neptune Middle School.
Neptune is rich in tradition and success, and I am very excited to be the leader of our school. My goal as the principal of Neptune is to work alongside our dedicated team of teachers and staff to continue creating a world class high school preparatory experience and grow our students into model citizens.
Since our mission is to provide education which inspires all students to achieve their highest potential, we will remain focused on setting high expectations and ensuring engagement for all as well as building positive and meaningful relationships in a safe learning environment.
Since student safety is our number one priority, please remember student drop off can be no earlier than 7:00 AM. Besides serving a no-charge breakfast between 7:00 and 7:25 AM, I am happy to let you know that all Neptune Middle School students will now receive a no-charge lunch as well.
Of course the student experience at Neptune is enhanced through the support of the community. Parents, family members, teachers, Business Partners, PSST (Parents Supporting Students and Teachers) and SAC (School Advisory Committee) will all work together to ensure the success of the students attending Neptune Middle. I invite you to get involved in your child’s/ children’s education through becoming a SAC member and/ or an OASIS Volunteer for Neptune.
I am looking forward to building a strong partnership with all stakeholders as we work together to support our students and help them succeed.
It’s going to be a great year! Go Seahawks!
Joumana Moukaddam, Principal
