This area is for you to access various resources to make you time here at Neptune more enjoyable to assist with your academic success.
Please remember to communicate with your teachers and make sure you understand the learning goals and scales for each assignment, project, or activity. If you do not, ask questions and do not assume. It is your work and your responsibility...
Most teachers have before or afterschool hours to assist you with homework and other assignments. If this is not an option for you, contacting your teacher via official school email (MS365/First Class) is always an option. The contact information for all teachers is listed under Faculty & Staff. If needed, homeroom may also be available for academic assistance.
Remember to check assignment due dates and grades via FOCUS. It should not be a "surprise" to you where you stand with grades. If you have a question, be PROACTIVE
and address any missing work and grades early. It is much easier for everyone to address issues early in the quarter, than waiting until the last day.
You will receive a progress report every 4.5 weeks and a report card every 9 weeks. If in grade distress, you may also receive individual classroom progress reports. Some teachers may require the progress and report cards to be signed and returned. It is your responsibility to keep your parents informed...
