Principal’s Message
Dear Neptune Family,
As we wrap up the third quarter, Neptune Middle School continues its rich tradition of success and remains a model of excellence in academics, fine arts, and athletics. I would like to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our entire school community. We are very pleased with the success we have seen throughout this quarter, and it reflects the commitment shown by our students, the support from our families, and the tireless efforts of our teachers and staff. My goal as Principal of Neptune is to continue working alongside our dedicated teachers and staff to increase student achievement while providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Please continue to take note of our start and end times. Unless your child is enrolled in the YMCA before-school program, which opens at 7:00 a.m., student drop-off can be no earlier than 9:00 a.m., with classes beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Our dismissal time remains 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with an early release on Wednesdays at 3:30 p.m. Please ensure your child knows their after-school transportation plan each day.
A student’s experience at Neptune is strengthened through community support, and I encourage you to stay involved in your child’s education by becoming a SAC member and/or an OASIS Volunteer.
With the fourth quarter beginning, we are excited to continue building on this momentum. Our goal is to keep our success going by maintaining high standards, staying focused on learning, and supporting one another every step of the way for every child, every chance, every day. As always, our expectations continue to grow because we know our students are capable of achieving great things.
Thank you to our parents for your continued partnership, to our teachers for your dedication, and to our students for your determination and effort. Together, we will make the end of the school year a celebration of growth, learning, and achievement.
